We know that every child learns differently, and we know that every child can thrive. Through building genuine relationships with students and families right from the start, Sparkle Tutoring creates personalized learning sessions for each individual based upon their interests, strengths, learning style, and needs. We are able to give students access to the tools and resources that they need to thrive and feel confident through creative and engaging approaches that connect to their strengths and interests.
Our Journey
Amy Weisbrot, the founder of Sparkle Tutoring, had been a special education teacher in a variety of public schools in Colorado, Georgia, and Ohio. Through her classroom experience working with students in a small group setting to support reading, writing, and math needs, parents were still seeking additional resources that they could provide their children outside of the school setting.
Amy began to support students from different schools in the evenings, and became genuinely energized by seeing the positive impact that she was making on her students’ lives from the 1:1 individualized support while while building each lesson on strengths and interests. Helping to support students in creative and outside-the-box ways while using research-based approaches has been effective.
….So, therefore.. That is what we (now Sparkle Tutoring!) do while working with your child! Targeting children’s strengths and interests makes us different, and each lesson that we provide is different… based upon your child’s interests and strengths!
